It's Harvest Time at the vineyards! In celebration of this wonderful time of year, I'm rounding up my favorite Rosé wines found right here in Texas. Why Rosé...well it happens to be my favorite and seems like it is everyone else's as well. However, Texas Vineyards have excellent red and white varieties as well. So really, you should make sure you taste them all! You can see a gallery of my Rosé picks at end of post.  I've also linked below my favorite Rosé colored dresses, you can simply click to shop!

If you've never tried a Texas wine, well you should. Texas Vineyards collectively won 157 medals at the prestigious 2017 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.  Most of these vineyards can be visited right off of Highway 290. It's called, in fact, Wine Road 290. A stretch of black top spanning from Austin to Fredericksburg, dotted with about 17 vineyards. That's an hour and a half of vineyards people! Like they say, everything's bigger in Texas! And that's just right off the highway. There are several surrounding towns in the Hill Country with visit worthy vineyards.

You can drive yourself (which means you need a designated driver....not fun for them) or you can rent a limo or shuttle, that will take you to all of them. And there are many adorable B&Bs all around to stay in. Or you can stay in Fredericksburg, a cute german town with lots of really good restaurants and of course more wine tasting rooms. It really is a wonderful hill country getaway and the time is ripe for visiting now! Cheers to Good Food, Good Wine and Good Times!
