Summer is upon us and it's time for one of America's favorite past times.....the American road trip! Over the weekend, we took a short road trip to Fredericksburg, TX. This quaint town just never gets old. And even though, we live just a short 30 mins away, we always feel like we're lost in our own little world and always discovering something new. We were in a nostalgic, retro kind of mood, so we decided to check out the Pecan Grove Store. Built in 1957, it started out as a Sinclair gas station but he just couldn't stop there. So he built on a garage, a store, an ice house, dance floor and a band stand in the pecan grove (this guy is the absolute coolest). You can stop in, grab an ice cold beer and hear singers/songwriters play the hearts out. Check it out next time your in Fredericksburg.
